How to backup LVM config and data to restore after system re-installation?

Hi,

I have Centos 6.2 32-bit running on a disk and 4 other disks on the same server managed with LVM to store data.
Now i need to install centos 64-bit in place of the 32-bit, but i need to go back to the LVM config as it was.

How can i backup/restore LVM config and data after i have formatted the 32-bit and installed the 64-bit?

Thanks much
