Just saying "but not success", tells us nothing. What have you see in the log files on both the client and the server?? And have you checked Microsoft's forums on this, since it's a recurring issue??? If you had, you'd have seen the hotfix you mentioned has been superseded by another one, which actually DOES (seemingly), fix the problem...and there are many workarounds issued too. Also, you mention SEVERAL different distros of Windows, all of which have different fixes. Which have you tried on which clients?? Have you checked DNS? Tried mapping with IP address vs. FQDN???

...and if you don't install the right hotfix, or try any of the workarounds mentioned in the Microsoft articles FIRST, you'll be wasting your time, since the problem will STILL EXIST.
