How to add new locale to my system.

Dear Sir.

I'm want to use korean language(to typing) on my system.

But everytime fail to input korean language on my bash shell.

So, I'm check locale info for my system.

Code:
admin@router:~> ./locale
LANG=
LC_CTYPE="POSIX"
LC_NUMERIC="POSIX"
LC_TIME="POSIX"
LC_COLLATE="POSIX"
LC_MONETARY="POSIX"
LC_MESSAGES="POSIX"
LC_PAPER="POSIX"
LC_NAME="POSIX"
LC_ADDRESS="POSIX"
LC_TELEPHONE="POSIX"
LC_MEASUREMENT="POSIX"
LC_IDENTIFICATION="POSIX"
LC_ALL=
admin@router:~> ./locale  -a
C
POSIX
I guess, If i use the korean language, My system must include the locale "ko_KR.utf8".

Code:
poplinux@poplinux: opt$ (3.33) locale -a
C
C.UTF-8
POSIX
..
..
..
..
ko_KR-utf8
Is it correct?

My question.
How to add new locale(ko_KR-utf8) to my system?

Thank you.

PS. I'm not use ubuntu. I'm working on embedded system.

Can you run this command?
So we (and you) can see what locales are available.

Code:
cat /etc/locale.gen
This is what I got when I do that (snippet)

Code:
# This file lists locales that you wish to have built. You can find a list
# of valid supported locales at /usr/share/i18n/SUPPORTED, and you can add
# user defined locales to /usr/local/share/i18n/SUPPORTED. If you change
# this file, you need to rerun locale-gen.

# aa_DJ ISO-8859-1
# aa_DJ.UTF-8 UTF-8
# aa_ER UTF-8
# aa_ER@saaho UTF-8
# aa_ET UTF-8
# af_ZA ISO-8859-1
# af_ZA.UTF-8 UTF-8
# am_ET UTF-8
# an_ES ISO-8859-15
# an_ES.UTF-8 UTF-8
# ar_AE ISO-8859-6

Can you tell us how you solved this?

The information might be handy for those that run into this same issue.
