How to accsess my pendrive?
Hi all
I am completely new to Linux. I am using Red Hat 9. I have also got Windows installed on my PC. To access the windows file systems, I had to create entries for them in the /etc/fstab file and create directories(hda5,hda6,hda7) [/COLOR]in the /mnt directory and then use the mount commands.
Now, I want to access my pen drive(via a USB port).
Please help me how I should be going about it?
In my Hardware browser(system tools) window, when I click on the USB devices, it shows me the folowing:
82801DB USB EHCI controller
82801DB USB (Hub#1)
82801DB USB (Hub#2)
82801DB USB (Hub#3)
Please note: When my pen drive is already connected to my PC, I am not able to open the hardware browser. The hardware browser window tries to open and then closes. However when I remove my pen drive, the hardware browser window opens.
Please help.
Thanks & Regards
Pratyush
