How to access the internet from the terminal window in ferdora 6 zod


when I boot my computer I only see the prompt screen, I want to do a couple of things first I to find out what websites are hosted on my machine and delete the ones that are no longer in use. next I would like to point the website i want to keep to another machine to another machine. Any suggestions?

Actually, the title and your qn are different.
To answer your qn, you could try
startx
to see if the GUI comes up.
But realistically, you need to edit the httpd.conf file in eg /etc/apache2 to remove your sites.
