Smile how to access information from popups

There is one FEA software known as Medina, which popups a message box in its GUI in its operation.I would like to access the information from the message box.For more clarity please see the image attached with this post.
I am suspecting whether any log file being wriiten in some directory corresponds to the message box.

Lightbulb

Launch the program from a terminal and do something that forces that action and then watch the terminal for an indication of where that data might be stored.

Hi there,

If youi suspect that this is also written to a message box, you might want to try looking for recently modified files in the directories mentioned in the message box. This find command might help:

find /MED8.2.5.2 /share/medina /home/balnair/.medina -type f -mtime -1 -print

If the information is not available in a file, a starting point for getting to the information out of the X window might be the xclip, xsel & xdotool commands.

Hope this helps!
