I got Wine from www.codeweavers.com and it works with more programs than I thought it would.

It has an nice gui setup.
After you get it setup just find the .exe file that you want to run and run it with wine.

Not all programs will work but I got QuickBooks Pro 99 to work with it!:)

Good Luck

Go through the questions and list in the setup menu. I assume you know how DOS works. If you are going to run any appz from CDs, you need to setup a drive letter. This letter can be anything from A to Z.

Wine from Codeweavers does work. Wine that came with my distro didn't work at all, so I had to uninstall it and install wine from codeweavers.

I ran a few programs:
Starcraft (without Keyboard)
Cool Edit (runs fine)
Calculator (runs fine)
wordpad (runs fine)
and many others I didn't tried yet

When using wine I could not run programs that are under directories with spaces. Because LINUX does not handle spaces for its file system, it ignores every character after the space. An underscore (_) is a good alternative for spaces. I suggest you go in windows and re-edit all the directories (with spaces) where your appz are. Then boot up in LINUX.

Make sure you look on codeweaver's site on Red Hats X11 package. You might need one if you are using custom menu.
