Take a look at your /etc/network/interfaces file.

iface eth0 inet static
address .....
netmask .....
network .....
broadcast .....
gateway .....

iface eth1 inet static
.
.
.
.

and so on. Afterwards, restart your network. Hope that helps.

/etc/network/interfaces

netmask 255.255.255.0
network 10.1.197.0
broadcast 10.1.197.255
gateway 10.1.1.1

auto eth0:0
iface eth0:0 inet static
address 10.1.197.182
netmask 255.255.0.0
#network 10.1.197.0
#broadcast 10.255.255.255
#gateway 10.1.1.1
