how one could download an fedora core dvd iso which is above 2GB

Could anyone let me know how one could download an fedora core dvd iso which is above 2GB. I think that http and ftp can download only upto 2gb and above that it's not supported. So was just curious how to download. Are there options other than Bit-Torrent??

thanks,
RM.

it is just your client dont support "donwload-a-single-file-that-is-larger-than 2GB"

serious...use some client that support it e.g d4x, wget

Use wget from command line

wget will keep grinding away until it has the entire file and you don't have to babysit it. Issue the command from a terminal window as indicated above and go have lunch! It will finish when it's supposed to.

Good luck and enjoy Fedora!

If you would like a graphical frontend to wget, try install kget or gwget.
