how long does it take for kde 3.3.1 to install?
 
Can anyone give me an estimate? it seems to have taken over an hour now...

It really depends on your system mate. The older and slower the hardware, the longer the install will take, and vice/versa. As long as it's still running, and you've got no errors, I wouldn't worry. If you get errors, then worry. ;-)

Hello BCF2,

What CPU are you using, I guess over one hour to install is pretty normal if you have an Intel 80386SX-16Mhz, with not to much memory installed.

I did not timed my (test) installation, but I feed my dog went to the toilet and made coffee....in the time it was busy
