How Linux Works?

the computer works from ffff:0000 it has nothing to do with the DOS. you will see the jump instruction their. Now the MSDOS is looking for IO.SYS, MSDOS.SYS, DBLSPACE.BIN. AND COMMAND.COM..to be ready..now is BOOT.INI, NTLDR etc...etc...look for autoexec.bat, config.sys and EXE, COM, BAT filename extensions to run the programs.

Can you help me friends how exactly linux works and what are the important files i am going to familiarize compare to DOS..

Thank you very much....CAN YOU GIVE ME A FLOW...OF..INSTRUCTIONS...
