How jiffies get updated?

I browse through kernel source code but can't find where jiffies is get updated.
any help?

This really help! Thanks.

But I still can't find a file seeing how "jiffies = TIMER_COUNTER" that update the jiffies in every 10ms timer interrupts.
Any suggestion of maillist i can subscribe to ask this question?

I honestly have no idea. I didn't know what jiffies was until I saw this thread. I ran couple searches and found the article above and it looked to me like it might help.
