How do you write CD's in Linux?

How do you write CD's in Linux? I'm using RedHat 6.1. The drive works great for reading CD's, but I have no idea how to write them. In Windows, most people use the Adaptec software; where can I find software like this for Linux?

you can do a search for them... try going to www.sourceforge.net or maybe www.linuxapps.com
