How do you use linux to see various partitions on your hard drive?

Hello there. I have successfully installed Xubuntu on my computer. There are currently 3 partitions set up.....

C drive(windows XP installation)
D drive

U drive(Linux installation)

When I turn on my computer it gives me the option of booting up Windows or Linux.

If I boot with Windows I can see my C drive and D drive but NOT the U drive.

If I boot up with Xubuntu Linux I can see stuff on the U drive but I do not know how to see stuff on the C or D drives.

Here is the reason I ask....... I have some mpg video files on the C and D drives which I would like to open in Linux. How do I do this?

Thanks!

TC
