How do you set up an internet connection in fluxbox?

I've got Featherlinux w/ Fluxbox, and I want to set up my internet connection... I have a basic USB modem (D-Link DSL-200 second model), and very little info on my connection. (The Windows drivers CD automatically sets up everything about it except username/password).

What application/commands do I use?
What information do I have to write down from the Windows PC?

thanks...
