How do I view Divx movies?
 
Hi all, just forgot to ask this question.

I'm using Red Hat Enterprise AS 4.0

Any advise and guidance is most welcome !

Hi!
You'll need XVID codecs installed. Try it: http://www.mplayerhq.hu/DOCS/HTML/en...decs.html#xvid
You may also install codec bundle which will make it able to playback any video you want: http://www3.mplayerhq.hu/MPlayer/rel...071007.tar.bz2

You can use that codecs source, but you'll need to compile them for RHEL. Don't use SlackBuild scripts - they are useful for Slackers only.
