How do I use wireless with Ubuntu
I ran into a problem, I was using DSL now I must switch to wireless. I cannot get this to work. I tried it teh easy way, which was to right click on the network icon and from there theres no option for which wireless site is available to me. What are the steps to locating and using different wireless networks?

First step is to find about your wireless model with "lspci" and than try to google for tutorials..

You probably need wireless drivers.
Try 'jockey' (hardware drivers tool, or whatever they are calling it in new *buntu versions). I forget where it is in the menus....and its location would have changed with 'unity' anyway. |
