How do I use a usb with Linux in Windows 98

I have a HP Omnibook Intel PenII 32.0ram 32-bit memory 640kb, windows 98.
I just want to be able to get on the internet wirelessly by DSL if possible. Does Linux have anything I can use to do this.

From what I understand, A live CD is exactly what you are looking for. Though, with hardware that old, I recommend just straight installing any distro you prefer. Linux has come a long way since the days of 98 and can support much more than people expect.

I agree, and I'd suggest you take a look at Damn Small Linux http://www.linuxquestions.org/review...cat.php/cat/28

It's designed for older systems and to use as little resources as possible.
