How do I stop my on line streaming of sports events from timing out every 15 mimutes

When I'm watching streaming online sports, my notebook times out every 15 minutes or so. All I have to do is hit the enter key twice to start the streaming again. Kind of annoying when you just sat down. I'm new to using Linux.

To add to what EDDY1 said, if you're using VLC, or whatever other streaming app... check to see whether it has a disable screen saver setting...
