How do I start KRecipe?

Hi,

(I am running Mandrake 10)

I downloaded the KRecipe tarball, opened it, configured it, did make, and make install. I seem to have a directory with the appropriate subdirectories, and no error messages were generated in the installation.

I'm probably being stupid, but how do I launch the application? I cant find an obvious executable file.

Help greatly appreciated.

Dave

try right clicking on your desktop to get a menu, choose run command, in the window that pops up try KRecipe.
good luck.

Thanks for the reply - I tried that! No luck.

Should I be looking for an executable file in the KRecipe directory created by the extracting of the tarball, or should there be a file in the usr/bin or somewhere?

did you try krecipe, and KRecipe? it may be case sensitive.

<edit>try starting it from a terminal, see if any errors pop up.</edit>
