How do I set an icon for a shell script?

I run a program from a shell script, I dont know why I just know that thats the only way I can get the program to run.

I would like to give it an icon on my desktop. How do I go about this?

Thanks.

In KDE, if you right click on the desktop and select "Create New" then "Link to application" under the properties tab you should be able to put your shell script there. On the first tab of the window, you can click on the icon and change it to what ever you want.
