Not an option available with fluxbox.

EDIT: Theres also commands to change the window size of other applications, eg. wmctrl -r Firefox -e 1,-1,-1,500,300

THE Correct Answer

Previous answers are not helpful if you wish to resize an existing gnome-terminal instance.

Try this (from within the terminal you wish to resize): resize -s 25 80

The arguments to -s are rows and columns.

Enjoy!
