How do I replace a url in the body of an post or email with 'Here'....?

I've noticed that people send links in the body of an email or a forum post but use the words 'Click Here' instead of the full URL.
I'm sure it's a simple procedure but the ability to do it evades me I'm afraid.
Any advice would be much appreciated.
Thank you.

Here at LQ you have to write the world "Here" somewhere in your post, highlight (select) it then press the "Insert link" button (the one with a globe and two rings of a chain) and write the URL in the pop-up. You will end up with the following tags inserted in your text, around the world "Here":

Some text Here Other text.

A similar procedure applies when you write an e-mail. For example in Thunderbird you can select some text and go to Insert --> Link...
