How do I recompile a single module?

I've set up UnrealIRCD and tried to start it and it returned the error:

* Loading IRCd configuration ..
* unrealircd.conf:36: loadmodule src/modules/commands.so: failed to load: Module was compiled for 'Unreal3.2.7/NOSPF', we were configured for 'Unreal3.2.7'. SOLUTION: Recompile the module(s).
[error] IRCd configuration failed to load
Possible error encountered (IRCd seemingly not started)

No logfile was generated.

commands.so does exist at /src/modules/
there is a file "l_commands.c" there too, can that be compiled into commands.so without a .o file?

Thanks,
-SS
