How do I open downloads?

I don't know how to open downloads. When I click on open nothing happens.
Help. I downloaded freespire_oss_1.0.14.iso thought this would help. Maybe I should have stuck to windows.

You burn the .iso to the cd as an image, you aren't supposed to open .isos

What?

The options are open, copy download link, select all, remove from list.
No wonder nobody uses Linux. It sucks.

What application gives you these options?
If you go about it at that attitude, then you aren't going to get any help at all.

Hi once you download your iso, you have to burn the image to cd like AceofSpades19 pointed as thats the only way you get to open it. Number two, it makes me wonder what you are doing using linux if at all you insist it sucks.

You could mount it, e.g:

mount -t iso9660 -o loop filename mount point

Since when would you doubleclick on a CD image to install a program even in Windows?

Download the file if you are seeing this message in a brower. Burn it as an iso image. Don't simply burn CD containing the ISO file. Then reboot your computer with the CD in the drive.
