How do I mount my USB DVD-RW?

I have a fresh install of Slackware 10.2 and I want to get my USB DVD-RW connected and working.

How do I do this?

And what app can I use to burn from within Fluxbox?

Thanks

Is the system recognizing your drive when you plug it in? Have you loaded the scsi cd modules, the usb modules?

Sorry, I'm really green. How would I know if the system was recognizing my USB DVD-RW?

When you plug it in, type 'dmesg' and see if there are any messages near the bottom describing your device and how it was detected.

Yeah, it seems to recognize that there is a USB Mass Storage Device. Sorry I don't know how to copy out of aterm or I would post the text here. So if it is recognized does that mean that I should be able to access it?

You can redirect the output of dmesg to a file and copy that here. As an example
Code:
dmesg >dmesg.txt
will write the output of dmsg to a file called dmesg.txt

Sorry, but no answer on your original question.
