How do I mount I-river mp3 player?


Does anybody knows how to mount I-river 190T mp3 player? I configured it as a USB device, but I can't mount it as such. it gives me "not a valid block device" message whatever that means. I run Red Hat Enterprise Linux WS

I do believe you want the ifp driver which can be found here: <a href="http://ifp-driver.sourceforge.net/">http://ifp-driver.sourceforge.net/</a>.

If this is the case, you cannot mount the device like a mass storage device. You essentially interact with it like an ftp client. All the documentation on how to do this is included with the tools. I suggest you get the command line tools running properly before you try out the gtk or qt based tools.

I uploaded 'UMS' firmware on my player, so now it's should function as USB device (be compatible with standard usb drivers). and it does so on any windows system, but not on linux ... for some reason...
