How do I make Sles9 dual bootable


I am working on an assignment for college, and I simply cannot find anything on how to make sles 9 dual bootable. I am extremely new to Linux and am using it through VMWare. Help please!!!

ok, I have to write a training manual on how to configure Sles 9 to be dual bootable. I have no idea what os they want to boot with it, but I cannot figure it out. I've already partitioned the drive, but I'm stuck after that.

SLES is an enterprise (server) - last (several) time I installed it, it didn't offer an option for the bootloader. Just overwrote the MBR - just like their good mates M$oft.
Setting up dual-boot after that would be same as anything else - except another SLES of course.

why the old 9
suse is at 11.3 and sles is at 10 service pack 3

there should be a bunch of manuals for 9
