How do I make picture icons larger when selecting a picture file to open?

Hello I'm trying to use Pinta Image Editor but I cannot find an option to preview the image, in a viewable size, before I work on it.

Can someone please advise me on what to do in this situation? Prefferably it would be nice to view all the pictures as thumbnails.

Thanks in advance

There is no Preview option on the View tab?

Found this tutorial. Didn't read it as I don't use Pinta. It might have some useful info. Googling gave a lot of hits.
