How do I launch KDevelop?

How do I launch the KDevelop client? I'm using Fedora Core 1.0.

Thanks,
Jordon

No item in the menu? If you have it installed, you should be able to start it from a terminal with "kdevelop3" or possibly just "kdevelop"

jcspray;

Thanks for your reply. KDevelop isn't amenu item. Neither kdevelop nor kdevelop3 works.

How can I find out if Kdevelop is installed? Does it install by default?
(I'm running Fedora Core 1.0 with a default installation.)

Thanks,
Jordon

You can find out if kdevelop is installed by issuing the command "rpm -qa | grep kdevelop" at a terminal. If it's installed, it'll tell you what version.

If it's not installed, you can look for rpm packages either on your installation discs or on kdevelop.org

One more try.

I now can set up a KDE desktop. In /usr/bin I can find kde-config, and kdm-config. I still do not know how to configure kdevelop. Does this need to be done as root? Any suggestions?

Thanks again.
