How do I install windows a linux system to have a dualboot?

Hi

I currently have a Red Hat linux system and would like to have a dualboot linux-windows. Can someone give directions to do this. I'd appreciate it.

There are several tutorials out there on the web. Also, it has been my experience that it is generally easier to install windows first then your distro of linux. Windows gets kinda pushy about having the mbr.

To some extent depends on the Windoze version - try this. Use the drop-down box at the top for related how-tos.

You should always install windows first but there are time to time where linux was installed first. So try this. Installf Windows on Linux box. Windows will Override your MBR (Master boot record). Then try to reinstall grub/lilo which ever you use.

That may work.
