How do I install rails2.3.2 on slackware12.1


I want to install rails on slackware12.1.I don't know what would better rubygem1.3.1 rake0.8.7.gem and rails2.3.2 with /usr/local/src,then /opt.How do I install rails into the path :/opt

I don't know, try with:

Code:
./configure --prefix=/opt
This is the first solution to the problem in my mind

So sorry,I have not to used Tags yet. Although you give me a method to ./config --prefix,but my question would be put rails into slackware. My heartfelt thanks to you all.
