How do I install new themes

Hi,

I downloaded some themes that came in .tar.bz2 format. The theme manager in control centre of FC3 doesn't find anything in the folder containing the extracted files. Is there a directory where I'm supposed to place these files?

thanks

Maybe tell us what themes you are trying to install - themes for your login manager, your windowmanager, your web browser, and then what login manager, windowmanager, web browser, etc.

They are complete desktop themes, buttons, wallpaper, window decorations the whole works. Of course if you know something about installing simple things like new buttons I'm all ears!!!!!

thanks

Does the tarball include more than one theme? If it's 1 theme in 1 tarball you shouldn't extract them.

You use Gnome or KDE?
