How do I install Fedora on my comp running WinXP Pro, WinXP Home and Win2000 Server

How do I install Fedora on my comp running WinXP Pro, WinXP Home and Win2000 Server (5 partitions, 2 free)

I have spare partitions to intall Fedora.

Please tell me how do I go about it. Also should I use Fedora Binary cds or Fedora Source cds

If you want to install, use binary iso's. The source are just that, source code. They are not compiled.

What is your boot loader now? If you are using the WIn2K loader, I know you do not want to put LILO on MBR, but too many brain cells have died to tell you how to set it up. It might be slick to put LILO on a floppy... I am sure there are more elegant ways.

Of course the BEST way is to let Linux take over all the Windows partitions and save your upgrade and license money for beer.

Mulit boot systems

I use both Win2K and Fedora C1 on my computer and I have had no problems during the set up. When installing FC1 it actually asks whether to make linux or windows the main system (i.e. the default boot) but I have never tried to install any linux distro with more than 1 windows system at the same time. I'm not sure whether the FC1 installation will find them all or just give you the option to boot linux and one of your current installations. It is a fairly simple matter to edit the file to enable all of the other systems to boot once the installation is complete.

But why do you want so many systems?? One windows and one linux I can understand - and a good distro will knock the spots off Windoze any day. But, everyone to their own....
