How do I install a wireless pcmcia

Hi
Not sure if this question should be here or in networking but as I am a definitly a newby hopefully I will get an answer I can understand in this forum.
I have installed red hat 9 (from a for dummies book, publishers edition) on a compac pressario 700 lap-top.
The install went faultlessly and I have installed my printer, scanner, ethernet card all with no problems. Now I want to install a wireless pcmcia card.
I have purchased a belkin card model number F5D6020 and installed it on my windows machine with a belkin access point and it works fine. However when I tried to install it on linux, no go. the belkin web site gave instructions for installing on a linux box but the instructions ment nothing to me.
Can anyone out here help???
Thanks in anticipation
Wurzul

got it, but you'll need to specify what part(s) of the process you're having trouble with...

Well most of it actually:scratch:

However I have had a quick look at the links you have provided and they seem to be what I am looking for. (how did you find them so quickly) I shall fire up some neurons, go forth and read them.
