Gentlemen. I tried a different USB cable, one that had previously been working on the other computer, plugged the M-Audio M-Track into it.....and it found it. A little tweaking on the sound settings and Voila! My microphone is now working. I did the List Devices again and this is what I got;

**** List of CAPTURE Hardware Devices ****
card 0: PCH [HDA Intel PCH], device 0: ALC662 rev1 Analog [ALC662 rev1 Analog]
Subdevices: 1/1
Subdevice #0: subdevice #0
card 0: PCH [HDA Intel PCH], device 2: ALC662 rev1 Alt Analog [ALC662 rev1 Alt Analog]
Subdevices: 1/1
Subdevice #0: subdevice #0
card 1: MTrack [M-Track], device 0: USB Audio [USB Audio]
Subdevices: 1/1
Subdevice #0: subdevice #0
freak@Pauls-Refurb:~$

Thank you for all the help Gentlemen. It is very much appreciated.

Great! Keep in mind Linux is ready for professional audio mixing with RT kernel and Jack Audio Server.
