How do i get my internet working?
Im completly new to this couldnt install windows on my computer so i tried linux and it worked. I cant get the internet to run on it and i really have no idea what im doing.
My Specs are: AMD 64 3800+ X2 duel core processor nVidia 6800 and a asus a8n-sli series mother board Im using Mandrakelinux 10.1 if anyone could help me out i would appreciate it greatly thanks :-) |
what kind of connecton do you have for internet?

Im using cox internet connected to a basic linksys router router

an IP address default route DNS server IP or you can do it using some tool like drakconnect as mentioned above regards |
I suggest that you just switch to Fedora Core 4. It auto detecks the hostname, and everything else. I had the same problem while I used Vector Linux, but when I switched, the internet and everything else worked!
