i've never seen this in linux before, there's a similar clock it windows longhorn but it really sucks, try looking around on google and find a name for it then use the name to find more info on it, also look around in configuration menus for the kde desktop and panels might be in a specific distro also, try finding out what distor isa in the screen shot, im guessing thats not gonna happen thought so just stick with searching google and you should find something about it.

its run by a program called superkaramba, there are all kinds of themes from app bars to system monitors you can place them anywhere on your desktop.

Looks like a Karamba/Super Karamba item. Try the section at KDE-Look.org.

WOW!!! I can't believe I've overlooked Karamba!! Unbelievable! All this time I have only been looking at the icons and backgrounds. I've been missing out. I just have this want to make my comp as personalized as possible. Windoze WISHED ithad Karamba!

windows DOES have karamba, two of em actually. the good one is called samurize. if you have karamba, you MUST install liquid weather, its the best theme out there.

Also if you use Mac you can get Konfabulator which is pretty much the same thing. Or if you use Gnome use Gdesklets

Yeah? I was just at the site and it said that Karamba is only for Linux. Go figure.
