How do I find out which version of Linux I have?

RedHat, Ubuntu, Fedora, cowpat, urinestain, papsmear. Who is the bureaucrat behind this mess? I believe it is a conspiracy to keep it exclusive.

Legitimate question.

Are you a stuffed shirt or just a troll? The question was legit, the rest was humor. Sorry you haven't a sense of one!

In that case: you're running papsmear.

Maybe whatever you chose to install?

Have a nice day.

Cheers,
Tink

Absolutely. The humourous approach wasn't actually that
good. Looks very much like trolling - coming here to offend.

And the friendly gent you were picking a fight with is
actually also a mod.

Cheers,
Tink

Not really into that Mr Papsmear. Let's leave it at that.

Your "question" was answered, and you find yourself a life
and have fun w/ other people on non-technical forums ...

Cheers,
Tink
