Angry How do I edit bash rc to tailor my redhat linux for cut and paste?

Someone edited it - it worked as it should....Where does it live? I am certain there should be a backup.

Thanks for I'm a newbie for this!

The cut and paste behavior is determined by the terminal program that you're using. For instance xterm's copy and paste behavior is different than gnome-terminal's.

Smile so cygwin is the problem

So my problem lies in Cygwin, the program I'm forced to used by company standards. Thanks.... I know now I'm doomed to live with it. Thank you flakblas!
