How do I download Adobe Flash to UbuntuMATE?

I am on adobe.com's Flash Player Download page. It gives several download options.

I am brand new to Linux. Certain webpages are telling me I need to install Flash, but I have no idea how to do it.

I have downloaded files and extracted them, but unlike windows, I do not see an installer. Other files open the Ubuntu Software Center and it says the file is not found.

Help?

Flash will hopefully be dead in a couple of years or so. But, until then, and if you really need it, check this link:

Hi Mr. Grey...

Using the method here might be easier.

EDIT: Whooops, I gave the same link as HMW above.

Regards...

Thank you HMW (and ardvark71).

I was not aware the browser was significant, so I did not mention it. I am using Chromium.

The link you gave was to d/l Flash for Mozilla. I scrolled down a bit, and the command code for Chromium was in the user comments. I now have flash!

Thank you both so much!

I have one other issue regarding my wireless connection. If either of you happen to know how to help, I'd appreciate it!
My other question

You're welcome, glad to help.

Now that you have flash, please run the speed test Jeremy requested. I think that will help with diagnosis.

Regards...
