How do I double the size of my taksbar.

How do you double up the taksbar in kde. Im sued to havng my quicklaunch in one bar and my application in another as i tend to have a lot of applications running.

i'm not sure if this is what you are talking about but i hope it is.
go to the K--->Settings--->Control center
once the control center has open up go to:
Desktop---->Panels then choose the lenght size you'd like or the size, just play with the setting in thepanels tab
