How do i change the color of the taskbar? or change it to a image?
 

How do i change the color or a image of the task bar because i don't like it, it is always white!
and it's for KDE 3.2 and it's linux mandrake 10.1 the newest one. Thank you guys for every thing it worked but it did not change the border on the task bar so if you could find that out for me THANKS

Check the settings in your Control Panel. There's all kinds of options, including my favorite, making it smaller ;)

I don't use kde but I've tried it some time ago.
So, if I remember well... put the cursor on the taskbar then right click and it should popup the taskbar menu with the option to configure it.
You can choose different colors or the image you want.I.E. an image you have onto your hard disk even if the image doesn't own to kde package!
Let me now if it did the trick!
