How do I burn files to a CD in Ubuntu?
I can't remember the password to my old xp machine and the only account is the administrator so I decided to get a password recovery. I found this one, which seems perfect.
http://www.loginrecovery.com/ so after I download the file how do I get it on a CD? I'm using Xubuntu. |
If you do not have K3B - a powerful CD/DVD burning software, then just insert the blank CD, copy the files directly to the CD, and then just click 'write data' on the right-top corner.

Edit: if the file is an ISO, you do not simply copy it. You can use cdrecord (I'm assuming you have it installed, of course) to burn ISOs.

If it is an ISO image, just right-click on the icon and select "Write image to disc".
