How do I access a mounted volume?
 

I have Suse 10.1, which when I installed it, created these 3 mount points, (among others): /windows/C, /windows/D and /windows/E. /windows/D is formatted FAT32, so I should be able to access it in Linux. My question is: how do I access it (in Linux) and/or the files and folders on it. If somebody answers this question for me, please be very specific. I am using KDE.

If your partitions are mounted, then in a terminal you can just cd to those directories, e.g.

cd /windows/C.

In Konqueror (or whatever other file manager you're using), you can just navigate to the directory (or type it in the location box).

Yes but did you give regular users access to these mount points? Post your fstab.... maybe you don't have permissions set quite right.
