How do you get bold and italic in gvim? :help is no help.

Thanks any help.

If you are creating a colorscheme you can use gui=bold and gui=underline, plus I also believe gui=italic is possible but I'm no huge fan of italics in editors so I don't use that.

You may want to download and look at the colorscheme template available from the scripts section at vim.org.

If you want to create an actual document with italics you wont succeed. VIM is a text editor, not a word processor.

Thanks.:)

Its that I saw you could give it different fonts for bold and so on. Also doing

:help bold

does give a command line option, or something, I think.
