How do add ip printer to Debian/Linux Server?

I have a Debian server as lab at home. How do I add my ip printers to the server? The printers are Kodak All-in-One ESP 9, and Lexmark X9575. Both printers are directly attached to the network.

By "ip printer," I assume you mean a printer that is directly connected to the network. It would help to know what make and model printer.

If it's an HP, use HPLIP, which is available in the Debain repos.

Here's a link to the Debian wiki on that subject. It's a little terse.

It's a good idea to give your printer a static ip address. That makes life a lot easier.
