Question thanks

thanks for the help but now another problem--....
whenever i shutdown the fedora and restart liferay does not work.
it shows error--1.> http 404 error or
2.> cannot find /liferay in desired location.
but everything is in its place as it was before shutdown.
i have to reinstall liferay and set the
JAVA_HOME variable everytime i restart the system ????

why????
i have tried it two time but everytime i shutdown i have to reinstall liferay.

Sounds unnecessary to me, if your Tomcat web server is configured properly. Anyway, this can easily be done through the usual profile/ shell rc (eg bashrc) files.

http 404 error means page does not exist.
the system is looking in the wrong place for its resources.
