How can i see Windows drives in linux?


Is it possible to view windows drives in linux.

yes, by using mount type ntfs or vfat -- depending upon partition type -- these need to be in your kernel

so the command is "mount type ntfs".

remember you have to

mkdir /mnt/fat32

before you use the mount command

Hi,

If you are lazy to type commands just use Knoppix Live CD or Mandrake 9.0. They mount all the partitions and display on your desktop...
(other versions may have this facility)
