how can I see a fortran file in linux

If I have a code file which is written in FORTRAN how can I see it in linux/Unix shell/terminal??

If its source code any console text editor should work. Depends on what text is installed. If its a windows file you might see a ^m on the end of each line.

$editor <filename>

Or, if you just want to look at it, and not edit it, you can use 'more' or 'less' to view it and page through it. 'less' is better, as it does more than 'more' does.
